Do you charge for recycling?

Most computer related items are recycled for FREE but unfortunately we have to charge for hard to recycle items to defer some of the cost.

Does my item have to be in a working condition?

Unlike other companies we will also accept appliances and anything metal that are broken or in bad shape. We are not picky, because we have the means to recycle every single part. Recycling is our job, not merely the reselling of appliances in working condition. This is why we ask a minimal fee to pick-up your appliance: We take on the bigger task of taking appliances apart and recycling all of the material appropriately.

How does your computer recycling program work?

We have an easy to follow 4 step process which can be completed in under a minute.

Step 1 – Add your items to recycle.
Step 2 – Add more items.
Step 3 – Enter you zip code to get a detailed pickup quote (no hidden fees)
Step 4 – Review the pricing quote (no hidden fees) and if you are happy with the price you can simply add your payment information

Which payment options are available?

We accept: All Major Credit cards including Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express. IMPORTANT: We accept ONLY Online Payments. Unfortunately our drivers can not accept payment or issue a receipt. They will however hand you a business card with our details if you ask them.


FAQ Pickup

Can I choose a day and time?

Yes you can choose a specific recycling pickup day and time during the scheduling process you will have the option to select the date and time in step 4.

Can you pickup after hours?

Yes we can pickup after yours, during the scheduling process you will have an option to select the day and time to pickup. We will go out of our way to work around your schedule.

Do you offer a pickup service?

We offer an easy Curbside Pickup (it does not have to be on the curb)! This means that you pay Online and leave your item anywhere outside anywhere for us to pick it up. Most home owners prefer this arrangement as it is convenient and not intrusive at all. You don’t have to be home, and we don’t have to invade your privacy. We can pick your items up for a fee which will vary according to the distance that our truck needs to travel to pick up your items. We have computerized the process for your convenience. You can find out what a pick-up will cost you, simply by typing in your zip code. We only accept Online Payments prior to pick-up. If you dont want to leave it on the curb or in the driveway then we understand, we can also pickup from inside your house.

Do you pickup on weekends?

We don’t usually pickup on weekends but it can be arranged under special request

What if I can’t move my items out to the curb?

Don’t want to leave it on the curb? No problem, we will collect it from your house or garage at no extra charge, no need to haul heavy equipment around, let us do the hard work.

What if I live in an apartment ?

If you live in an apartment building you can leave the small items outside the apartment door, this way we will not invade you privacy when we pickup.

Larger items can be moved to your carport or even into the a uncovered parking area with a note saying “Scheduled for Recycling pickup”

What if my items aren’t picked up on the preferred day?

Customer service is our highest authority and we will go out of our way to  pick-up your items on the day you’ve requested.

However, unforseen circumstances such as weather conditions, traffic or work load might prevent us from picking up your items on the day you’ve requested. If this unlikely scenario arise, we will be there the following business day to pick up your items.

We will be in touch by email or phone if we are for some reason not able to pick up your items on the day you’ve scheduled.

When will you pick up my mattress or appliance?

We will pickup your items on the day that you selected during the scheduling process, with exceptions**. 

Keep in mind that we now service the whole Portland Metropolitan and Vancouver area. This means that we might have to group pickups that are more than 30 miles away together to keep prices as low as possible for our customers. 

It is very hard to judge how long each individual pickup will take as the quantity in each recycling pickup varies a great deal. We also never know when a tuck will have to go back to headquarters to unload if full during recycling pickups.

For this reason it is not always possible for us to guarantee that we will be able to pick up your items on the day you requested (99% of all pickups are picked up on the requested day).

We will send you an email if we cannot pickup on the day that you scheduled your pickup. Your patience in this respect will be greatly appreciated.

  1. **If you schedule your pickup late in the day it might not be picked up the same day
  2. **Due to traffic and weather conditions out of our control we might not pickup on the scheduled day

FAQ Drop-off

Do you accept drop offs?

Yes you can drop off your items at out warehouse in Hillsboro Oregon, alternatively we can pickup your items for recycling at an additional fee.

What is your drop-off hours

You drop off your items anytime during regular business hours Monday through Sunday.

Will there be someone to help offload the items.

99% of the times there will be somebody there to help unload but if there isn’t somebody there then please unload and leave your items for recycling in front of the roll-up doors (More details is step 4 after payment)


FAQ FREE Volume Computer Recycling

Can I get FREE Printer Recycling?

No Unfortunately Printers don’t qualify for free recycling. We do offer discount if you have a few printers that needs to be recycled. To get started simply schedule the printer to be recycled, any discounts will be automatically applied.

Does all the appliances have to be the same type?

No the appliances does not all have to be the same type, in other words you still qualify for free recycling and free pickup if you have 5 items which could be any combination such as 1 stove, 1 dishwasher, 2 microwaves, 1 washing machine etc.

How do I get a price quote?

If you have a storage room or warehouse full of items to recycle then simply click on this link and we will schedule it for you.

What is the minimum volume to qualify for free recycling?

You can get FREE Recycling if you recycle 2 items  (depending on the item). 

Keep in mind that some items we already recycling for free, paid items will be discounted, the more you recycle the less you pay.

The easiest is the just go through Steps 1 to 4. The discount (up to 100%) will be automatically applied.

Who is the volume recycling intended for?

Any business, church, school or individual that have 2 or more items to recycle.


FAQ Refrigerated Appliances

What are the US government regulations on refrigerated appliances?

The Metallic Discards Act of 1991 banned major appliances such as refrigerators, water heaters, washers, dryers, and air conditioners from landfill disposal and required them to be recycled for their metal content. This Act was recently amended to improve compliance with regulations for proper removal of hazardous materials from the appliances prior to recycling the metal.


FAQ Rebate Program

Does the appliance have to bee in a working condition?

No the appliance does not have to be in a working condition to receive a rebate as long as the appliance is eligible for rebate.

How do you qualify for the appliance recycling rebate program?

To qualify you need to recycle an appliance from the list below which are all eligible for the rebate program

How does your rebate program work?

You scheduled your recycling pickup like normal, after the items have been picked up you use your receipt number to request your recycling rebate on the Appliance Recycling Rebate page. 

PayPal say that I can’t claim the rebate why is that?

All unclaimed rebates will expire after 30 days, this is not our choice but rather the way PayPal works

What if I don’t have a PayPal email address?

You will receive an email from PayPal to claim your rebate at which time you can signup for a PayPal account.

When will I receive my rebate payment?

All rebate payments are paid electronically via PayPal within 21 days off submitting your rebate.

Curbside Mattress Recycling and Disposal

Don’t want to leave it on the curb, no problem we will collect it from your house or garage at no extra charge, no need to haul heavy equipment around, let us do the hard work.

We collect old washers, dryers, stoves, microwaves, hot water heaters and bicycles to name a few, for a more extensive list of what we recycle.

We make it easy by now offering online mattress and appliance recycling scheduling and payment. It is an easy process which takes less than 60 seconds to complete.

Don’t wait any longer, schedule online today and forget about it. There may be a freon surcharge fee for appliance such as refrigerators, freezers or air conditioners which contain Freon.

Working units are sometimes donated to charitable organizations in the area.

Are you in a hurry? Need same day curbside mattress and appliance pick up? No problem, we have you covered. Simply schedule the pickup like normal and reply to the email that you will get after you scheduled. If we can no do it the same day we can simply cancel your order.

What if my mattress are in very bad shape?

We understand that is why you recycle it. We will accept your mattress in any condition just as long as it is not wet in which case we will charge an additional $10 for wet mattresses.

What if my mattress got wet?

We will accept your mattress if wet for an additional $10 fee
